You can give to the ADSHG in many ways thorugh an immediate donation, by sponsoring one of oru fundraisers or volunteer some time to assist the group.

  1. Many people raise funds for the group through participating in sponsored events; please help us by sponsoring someone undertaking such an event in 2017. Some of our fundraisers are group members with Addison's; others are friends and family.

     

    The ADSHG also purchases a limited number of charity places in two running events a year. You can find details of place availability in 2017 in this article.

  2. You can make an immediate donation to the ADSHG's work, through any of our our online giving pages. ADSHG is registered with a number of reputable online giving agencies, listed below. You can chose to make your donation to either of the two purposed appeals the charity maintains, or to make a general donation to our work.

  5. Fundraising ideas don't have to be sporty. Helping the work of the ADSHG doesn’t have to mean running a marathon, or swimming a mile. If you’ve got another idea, we are here to help you make it work.

  6. The ADSHG relies on volunteers to keep its activities going. The charity is self-help in name and self-help in what it does. Many of our volunteers give just a few hours or half days per year to help with local events, while others take on a year-round responsibility.
