Les
was diagnosed in May 2006, just one year after his son. He
joined the ADSHG straight away. He has developed the group’s
expenses policy and a financial plan for the next three
years. Les brings considerable experience of local charity
management to the group, having previously been a Cub &
Scout leader and the Treasurer for his local branch of the
Open University Students Association. This latter role was
whilst studying Pure Mathematics, for fun! Having retired
after 34 years in IT, he is now taking things easy, enjoying
hobbies of gardening, photography and playing with his
grandchildren.
