I
was diagnosed with Addison’s disease and hypothyroidism in
1987. Some years later, I learnt about the ADSHG from a
magazine article that my mother passed on to me. I joined
the group in 1996. I have always been well looked after by
the staff in the Endocrine Unit at Guy’s Hospital but I
think it’s fair to say that nothing actually beats being
able to meet and share experiences with fellow Addisonians
through the ADSHG. |
