Sue Thompson: Member of finance sub-committee

Sue was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease in June 2002, after being ill for about a year and took early retirement from the NHS, where she worked in NHS Finance since 1986. For the last 10 years in the role of Business Manager, she was responsible for providing financial advice and support on budgetary and funding matters to the directors of central services within the Queen Elizabeth NHS Trust.

Sue is married with three grown up children and five grandchildren. Together with Jan Snaith, she has helped put together the ADSHG Constitution and is coordinating the group’s application to the Charities’ Commission for charitable status.
