About the Addison’s Clinical Advisory Panel

The Addison’s Clinical Advisory Panel is an informal group of endocrinologists with an interest in adrenal medicine. They advise the ADSHG on its clinical guidelines, write medical commentaries and review our publications for us. They are led by Professor John Wass of the Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

 

Other members of the Clinical Advisory Panel are: John Monson Emeritus Professor at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London; Professor Wiebke Arlt of the University Hospital, Birmingham; Simon Pearce Professor of Endocrinology at Newcastle University; Dr Mike Croxson of Auckland Hospital, New Zealand; Suzanne Curran, endocrine nurse of Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge; Dr Trevor Howlett of the Royal Leicester Infirmary, Leicester; Dr Penny Hunt of Christchurch Hospital, New Zealand.

John Monson, is Emeritus Professor of Clinical Endocrinology at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, QMUL, United Kingdom and Consultant Physician at the London Clinic Centre for Endocrinology. He was formerly Lead Clinician for Endocrinology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Centre Lead for Academic Clinical Endocrinology in the William Harvey Research Institute at Queen Mary, University of London. Philip Yeoh

Philip Yeoh, endocrine nurse adviser to the ADSHG, has led the emergency injection training at a number of our meetings.

 

We are also grateful to the endocrinologists who contribute to our research interests. These centre on the development and analysis of the 2003 international Addison’s survey: Professor Krishna Chatterjee of Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, Dr Ellie Gurnell and Dr Kristian Lovas of Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway.
