About the ACAP - Suzanne Curran

Suzanne Curran is an endocrine specialist sister at Addenbrookes in Cambridge, working with Professor Krishna Chatterjee

 

Suzanne trained in Essex as an registered general nurse; to date she has spent most of her nursing career in Cambridge, and has undertaken further professional development in the areas of research and endocrinology.

She works in both the clinical and research areas of endocrinology, where she regularly sees patients with Addison's disease. She has worked on several recent research studies involving Addison's patients, in the fields of DHEA and Addison's disease quality of life.

Suzanne regularly conducts patient education sessions for people with Addison's disease which include how and when to administer an emergency injection of hydrocortisone. She worked with Nick Willson to develop the ADSHG injection guidelines.
