Europe's Toughest Mudder: in memory of Josh

Event details

Jack Payne is attempting Europe's Toughest Mudder, in memory of his friend Josh Levy who tragically died in adrenal crisis three years ago. Jack writes:

This is an 8 hour endurance course from midnight til 8am running a 5 mile course repeatedly. I'll be electrocuted, frozen, and most likely severely beaten, all in the name of my best friend Josh, to prove us geeks can do the tough stuff as well.

Europe's toughest Mudder is being staged at Belvoir Castle near Grantham overnight on 12 May. The 8-hour course course involves "5-miles of madness, mind-numbing terrain, icy water and all the thick mud that Belvoir Castle has to offer". You can watch the promotional video to get a taste of what is in store for Jack.

Jack's first sponsor for this event was Josh's mother, Karen, who writes: Thank you for helping to keep my boy's memory alive.
