Seminar details
Prof Husebye will give ADSHG's autumn medical seminar, the day ahead of his keynote lecture at the Society for Endocrinology's BES conference in Glasgow.

There will be a short Special General meeting of ADSHG to vote in a new Constitution. This will be required to allow the charity to receive Charitable Incorporated Organisation status, which has been a long-term goal for ADSHG.

The seminar with Prof Husebye will follow straight on from the Special General Meeting and will start with a brief presentation relating to Addison’s issues, followed by an interactive question and answer style session, so come along with a question in mind that you could offer, for our speaker to explain. The seminar itself will last just over an hour, after which there will be time for a chat over tea and coffee, with the opportunity to view ADSHG's injection videos and practice the injection method – either on oranges (for the faint-hearted), or on yourself. We are aiming to wrap up the evening by 9pm.

Prof Husebye is one of Europe's leading adrenal specialists and was a co-author with Prof Simon Pearce on the 2013 Euradrenal Consensus Statement. He is based at the medical school  in Bergen, Norway, and has been part of the largest clinical trial in Europe assessing the use of infusion pumps for cortisol replacement.

Location & time
The seminar will take place at the Premier Inn, Glasgow City Centre George Square, 187 George Street, Glasgow G1 1YU ‎(map), in rooms 3/4 (Buchanan/Chesney). Doors will open at 6pm and we aim to start the formal proceedings no later than 6.15pm

Refunds
If you are unable to attend please consider gifting the ticket charge as a donation to the group's work. Unfortunately refunds will not be given for any cancellations requested after the 31st October.
