The Addison’s Disease Self-Help Group, with the support and guidance of its Clinical Advisory Panel, publishes education materials for people with Addison's and their medical team regarding the treatment and management of Addison's.

The credit card sized laminated emergency card contains medical advice on the treatment required to prevent an adrenal crisis in the event of serious injury or illness. Cards are now on sale on-line. Read more...

   
The Emergency crisis letter is a standard letter, which should be signed by your doctor and gives paramedic or hospital staff guidance on your emergency treatment. A new colour English version was introduced in March 2006. The letter is also available in French and now also Italian.
   
The 24-page Addison's Owner's manual provides a guide for Addisonians about the practicalities of managing their health day-to-day.   It has been co-written by members of the ADSHG and endocrinologist Professor John Wass. Read more...
